There is an appearance that evil is winning.
It never wins.
There is no winning when your only goal is destruction.
All you have accomplished is leaving a wake of pain in this world.
You make yourself a stain that everyone seeks to wash away.
I am not a stain.
I am a light.
One that you can never dim.
Your destruction only encourages me to shine brighter!
Even on your day of glory you lose. Because destruction cannot win. Pain is never a win. The storm brings pain and chaos. It moves the tides and breaks the limbs off the trees. It leaves dirt and filth and holes and rubbish.
But what destruction doesnโt know. What the storm itself cannot see.
Itโs the light that comes to sweep it all away. What it doesnโt know is that the uglier the storm is and the more destruction it leaves, the brighter the light gets. It waits out the storm and it thrives! And when the storm tires out and the world is left in ruins, the light comes and makes it all new.
But it isnโt the same as it was before. What destruction doesnโt know is that this new life the light has brought is stronger and more resilient! It isnโt full of walls and fears but instead its more soft and vulnerable than ever before. More open to love and more full of peace than it was capable of before the storm.
What evil doesnโt know is that it never wins.
Because with the appearance of it winning is the growth of a light that outshines the evil. It burns so brightly that the evil gets burned away.
The appearance that evil is winning is actually its certain death.
And oh will it burn!
And I, the light will thrive and live!
